Our vines are located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Somerset, California on steep hills with various exposures.  We grow Tempranillo, Tannat, Syrah, Grenache and a few rows of Cabernet Sauvignon.  The soils are thin, decomposed granite, with some areas of red clay.  Native flowers and herbs grow between the vines, enriching the soil and providing a diverse ecosystem..

We farm using the principles of biodynamics in order to preserve our beautiful terroir.
Our winegrapes are Demeter certified Biodynamic^®, the most rigourous organic certification in the world.
